5. Datarock have played some interesting gigs: one with a modern theatre group that performed aerobics onstage, and another featuring a full high school marching band.
1. After recording a handful of songs in 2002, the band burned them onto 400 hand-painted three-inch CDs.
2. The Sims Video Team created a custom music video for the song 'Fa-Fa-Fa,' the song that appears in Simlish (Sims language) in 'The Sims 2: Free Time.'
3. The idea to wear matching red track suits onstage came from a Formula One race.
4.The band's musical influences include Devo, Talking Heads and the Happy Mondays.
