    1. Film School was a victim of the all-too-frequent equipment theft in 2006, when the band's gear was stolen before a show in New York City.
    2. Lead singer Greg Bertens grew up on classical music, but after hearing Nirvana for the first time, he knew he wanted to be in a rock band.
    3. Film School cites the Grateful Dead as one of their biggest influences.
    4. The Los Angeles band provided music for a series of short films that were used in an advertising campaign for Windows Vista.
    5. Colm O'Ciosoig, drummer and cofounder of seminal shoegaze band My Bloody Valentine, played drums on Film Schools' latest release, 2007's 'The Hideout.'
