5. Before his music career took off, frontman Craig Finn worked at a trading desk for American Express.
1. Finn and guitarist Tad Kubler were both members of the Boston indie rock group Lifter Puller before the Hold Steady came to fruition.
2. The Hold Steady are such avid baseball fans that they recorded 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame,' which was then played at the seventh-inning stretch at Minnesota Twins home games during the 2007 season.
3. In 2007, 'Harry Potter' star Daniel Radcliffe named the Holdy Steady as his favorite band.
4. Kubler and Finn came up with the idea of the Hold Steady while watching 'The Last Waltz.'
