In light of the Boston Marathon bombings that killed three people and injured 176 on April 15, Neil Diamond brought a little happiness to the hurting city.

On Saturday (April 20), Neil surprised the crowd at Fenway Park by singing his hit "Sweet Caroline" during the eight inning of the Red Sox's home game against the Kansas City Royals.

A signed copy of the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album was auctioned off at $290,500, nearly 10 times the estimated price.

According to a WENN report, the album was expected to sell for $110,000 during a pre-sale bidding a week before the Heritage Auction in Dallas, Texas, but ended up being sold for much more on Saturday (March 30). The "Piano Man" singer is auctioning off a personalized Steinway & Sons baby grand piano to raise money for aspiring music students. He'll also autograph the keyboard's protective covering once the auction ends on April 2.

Rachelle Spector, the wife of music producer Phil Spector, who's currently serving a 19-year to life sentence in the California state prison system for the alleged murder of actress Lana Clarkson, is coming to her husband's defense, slamming HBO's upcoming TV movie about the murder trial.

Just a week after Adele's "Skyfall" (the title track for the 27th James Bond movie of the same name) won for Best Original Song at the Academy Awards, she's been tapped to provide the theme song for the next James Bond film as well.

Otis "Damon" Harris of the Temptations has died at the age of 62, according to the Baltimore Sun.

He reportedly passed away at the Joseph Richey Hospice in Baltimore, Md. last Monday (Feb. 18) after a 14-year battle with prostate cancer.

Harris was a member of the Temptations from 1971 to 1975, and joined when Eddie Kendricks left the group. Harris himself was 20 years old when he joined, making him the youngest member. In the never-ending game of guess Adele's baby name, the singer dropped another clue on the Grammy red carpet last night.

A medium-sized "A" tattoo was seen behind her right ear, leading many to believe that the new ink is honor of her 4-month old son. At the Golden Globes a few weeks ago, Adele was seen with a necklace baring the name "Angelo," which some thought was a clear hint to the name of her son, so the "A" tattoo could support that theory.

Despite 10 editors watching for expletives and a 10-second delay on the live Grammy Awards telecast, CBS is dealing with some controversy this morning as it appears that Jack White sang "f--- me" during his performance that went uncensored.

While singing his song "Love Interruption" with Ruby Amanfu, it sounded like White sung the curse word, leading to many viewers tweeting about the mistake right afterwards.

R&B singer Cecil Womack has died at the age of 65.

According to Soul-Source, Womack was living with wife and musical partner Linda Womack in Africa when he passed away on Friday, Jan. 31.

He started out in a gospel group singing with his brother Bobby Womack and their other siblings, Harry, Friendly and Curtis. Sam Cooke spotted them and changed the group's name to the Valentinos.

The wait is (almost) over.

My Bloody Valentine announced tonight (Feb. 2) that they're releasing their first album since 1991's Loveless and launching their new website tonight.

Around 4:30 PM on their Facebook page, the band wrote, "We are preparing to go live with the new album/website this evening. We will make an announcement as soon as its up" while changing their cover and profile photos with a new, blue design. In a matter of minutes, the status was "liked" and shared by thousands of eagerly-awaiting fans.

UPDATE (10 PM): Morrissey has been diagnosed with a bleeding ulcer. According to a rep for the singer via Billboard, he's expected to make a full recovery, but has been forced to reschedule six upcoming tour dates. His tour will resume on Feb. 9 in Las Vegas, Nev. A rep said in a statement, "Morrissey apologizes greatly for any and all inconvenience and looks forward to continuing his U.S. tour." Rescheduled dates will all be announced in the coming days.

Morrissey has been hospitalized in Michigan and is reportedly undergoing tests for a suspected bladder infection, according to Billboard.

He had canceled his shows scheduled for this weekend and is getting treatment at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich.

On Thursday, Jan. 24, he canceled his show in Flint, Mich., citing a "band illness." Adele's estranged father is once again talking to the press, pleading with his daughter Adele to forgive him and let him meet his new grandson.

Mark Evans has tried to reach his daughter since the birth of her son in October, even showing up at a record studio where she was, but has been unsuccessful. He's hoping his new pleas will finally reach his daughter and spark a reunion, but Adele was famously mad at him before for talking to the press.

In the new interview with Britain's Daily Mail, he says, "I've left messages on her phone, I've written to her and I've sent her birthday and Christmas cards but it's like I'm dead to her. Producer Tony Visconti has opened up about David Bowie's health condition, denying that the singer is suffering from from the degenerative brain condition, Alzheimer's disease, and says that he's "not dying."

Visconti has spent time with Bowie working on his upcoming album, The Next Day, and insists that Bowie is in good health.

In an interview with Britain's The Sunday Telegraph newspaper, he says, "People thought he was dying. He's not dying any time soon, let me tell you ... He couldn't have done two years' work if he was a sick man. He's very healthy, he's very fit. He had the heart operation [in 2004, after collapsing on stage during a Germany concert] and that's it.
