Muppets Cover 'Bohemian Rhapsody'

What's better than Wayne and Garth rocking Queen's 'Bohemian Rhapsody'? The Muppets, of course. Henson Studio's felt friends have always been willing to rock -- as fans of Weezer's 'Keep Fishin'' video will recall -- but their video parody of the iconic rock tune is ... well, watch for yourself after the jump.

Sade Soldiers Back After a Decade

Sade will release her first album in a decade, titled 'Soldier of Love', on Feb. 8, 2010. The follow-up to 2000's 'Lovers Rock' was recorded in England and produced by her band -- which counts keyboardist Andrew Hale, guitarist/sax player Stuart Matthewman and bassist Paul S. Denman -- with longtime collaborator Mike Pela. While other details are still scarce, we do get a glance at the album art. Enjoy below.

Trent Reznor Unplugs on Neil Young's 'Bridge School' Compilation

Trent ReznorLet's face it, Trent Reznor doesn't strip down often. But back in 2006, the Nine Inch Nails brainchild showed up at Neil Young's annual non-profit Bridge School Concert sporting a beard to deliver an extremely rare unplugged set. Now, NIN devotees can load those stripped down approaches to "Fragile" and "Hurt" onto their iPods with today's release of 'Bridge School Collection, Vol. 4' via iTunes.

Aside from Reznor's heartfelt offerings, the compilation also counts live tracks by My Morning Jacket, Band of Horses, Death Cab For Cutie, Regina Spector, Norah Jones and Tegan and Sara, who posted the tracklist on their website. Noting that the Bridge School directly benefits children with severe speech and physical challenges, Sara writes that she and Tegan have repeatedly appeared at the concerts over the years and that it is "an absolutely incredible experience. Both professionally and personally."

Attesting to the variety of acts Young has attracted to his Bridge School concerts over the years, 'Vol. 4' also boasts everyone from Ministry -- captured back in 1994 -- to John Mellencamp, Tom Waits & Kronos Quartet, Jerry Lee Lewis, John Mayer and, um, Josh Groban.

Coldplay, A-Ha and Mew Members Form Apparatjik

Chris MartinColdplay frontman Chris Martin has always credited 1980s Norwegian pop band A-Ha for inspiring him to form his own band, but it's Martin's bandmate who is actually making music with a member of the 'Take On Me' troupe. Bassist Guy Berrynam has teamed with the Scandinavian group's keyboardist Magne Furuholmen and their producer Martin Terefe, along with Mew frontman Jonas Bjerre, to form a new project known as Apparatjik.

The group has emailed a new song, 'Electric Eye,' to approximately 30 fans and plans to make the tune available through its official website on November 30. According to the Guardian, Apparatjik -- who first appeared last year to lend one tune to the 'Amazon Tribe' benefit CD -- will unexpectedly release its debut album that same day.

Based on a sample of the track that was uploaded to the Internet by one of the 30 fans, the song meshes synthesizers with somber guitar tones. The vocalist on the track doesn't appear to be Mew's Bjerre, and since we haven't been privy to the singing style of Berryman or Furuholmen, the band's frontman is still unknown.

Interpol's Recording Sessions Disrupted by Courtney Love

Sam FogarinoThe members of Interpol will finally put their respective solo projects to the side and release a new studio album early next year. The as-yet-untitled follow up to 2007's 'Our Love to Admire' was recorded at Manhattan's legendary Electric Lady studios in the spring of 2009 and will sonically resemble the New York indie giants' debut disc, 'Turn on the Bright Lights.'

"That big wash of reverb? It's back. It's there. I personally brought two reverb tanks to the studio that our engineer fell in love with," drummer Sam Fogarino told Paste. "The new record falls back towards the first."

"In trying to move forward, there was an unspoken realization that you can't let go of your sonic-defining tag," Fogarino added. "There was an effort in Daniel [Kessler]'s guitar tone; he rediscovered it playing in his loft space for a year without anybody. The quality of that tone, played in a big room, is just beautiful. It creates an atmosphere."

Decemberists Animate 'The Hazards of Love'

Colin MeloyThe Decemberists have revived their most recent album, 'The Hazards of Love,' as an animated full-length video. Titled 'Here Come the Waves: The Hazards of Love Visualized,' the project, which first premiered at a show in Los Angeles last month, will now be available to fans exclusively through iTunes.

Colin Meloy and his crew commissioned filmmakers like Guilherme Marcondes, Julia Pott, Peter Sluszka and Santa Maria to create animated pieces for various musical extracts from the disc. Since its release in March, the Decemberists have supported 'The Hazards of Love' on the road, performing the album in its entirety during shows. The unique concept disc, which explores shape-shifters and forest queens, seems ideally suited for the animated film treatment Meloy has sanctioned. Check out the trippy trailer after the jump.

Winemaker Releases Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd Varietals

Rock 'n' roll and spirited libations have always gone hand in hand. A new enterprise, Wines That Rock, wants to take things to a new level by creating quality wines named after legendary rock albums. Even better, the company -- created by business and fan club managers of bands like the Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Sting and U2 -- will place original album art on the wine labels.

The first three products will be Rolling Stones 'Forty Licks Merlot,' 'Woodstock Chardonnay' and Pink Floyd's 'The Dark Side of the Moon Cabernet Sauvignon.' These wines, which will retail for around $17 a pop, were previewed backstage at the VIP & Artists lounges during the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame concerts in New York last month.
