Matisyahu recently performed eight shows during Hanukkah for his fourth-ever Festival of Light. The string of New York City dates featured different opening artists each evening, the last of which included Brooklyn's own Kevin Devine.

While the shows are over, fans can experience or relive Matisyahu's final Festival of Light performance, which was recorded live on December 20 from Brooklyn's Music Hall of Williamsburg.

For the fourth time, Matisyahu will be returning to New York City for the Festival of Light, a string of eight performances scheduled during Hanukkah. The concerts will kick off on December 10 and showcase the reggae musician's new album, 'Light.'

The Festival of Light includes four nights at Webster Hall and four nights at Brooklyn's Music Hall of Williamsburg. Each show will host a different opening act, including Dub Trio, Kid Koala, Gym Class Heroes' Travis McCoy, Kevin Devine, Glitch Mob and John Brown's Body.

Joss Stone, Gavin DeGraw, Cold War Kids and Mason Jennings played a free concert at the Convention Hall in Asbury Park, N.J. on Saturday for volunteers who participated in a Surfrider Foundation-sponsored beach clean-up. The Surfrider Foundation -- a non-profit organization "dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world's oceans, waves and beaches" -- partnered with Barefoot Wine in celebrating its 25th anniversary by restoring 25 beaches and lakes around the country with the help of over 2,000 volunteers as part of their Beach Rescue Project. The benefit concert marked the final clean-up of the summer in Asbury Park.

"This is a celebration of 25 years of cleaning up beaches and making beaches barefoot friendly," DeGraw told Spinner. "Even though it's raining and the weather is not necessarily perfect today, [the volunteers] still showed up. 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' is bringing its twisted humor to the stage with a live adaptation of 'The Nightman Cometh.' The production made its debut at the Troubadour in Los Angeles last spring, and due to popular demand, the cast of the hit FX series will be taking their "rock opera" on the road through six major cities -- Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

According to Butch Walker, he and Pink are not only drinking buddies and motorbike riding partners, but the two pop troubadours are also inclined to write hit songs together. This is exactly what happened when the singer-producer and Grammy-winning artist got together on Walker's groove-worthy 'Here Comes the...' off his fourth album, 'Sycamore Meadows.'

"I played [Pink] that song on acoustic a long time ago when I first wrote it, and she said, 'If you ever record that song, I'm singing it with you,'" Walker tells Spinner. "Needless to say, the babe has the best pipes and authentic soul in her voice of anyone in pop music, or period. "I wanted to do this one charity [show] for my cousin who got shot in the leg fifteen times," Adam "MCA" Yauch says with a mischievous smirk. While not exactly true, the Beastie Boys did lend their talent to Tuesday night's sold-out Music Has Power show at New York City's Terminal 5, which benefited the Institute for Music and Neurologic Function.

The IMNF is a non-profit agency that uses music therapy treatments to help rehabilitate those affected by neurological conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. "It just seems like amazing work that they're doing in up there in the Bronx, and it's also work that doesn't get that much attention," Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz tells Spinner of why they wanted to participate in the show.

The concert drew 3,000 die-hard fans, and the hometown heroes delivered a 25-song set of their greatest hits, as well as instrumental jams from their latest album, 'The Mix-Up.' At $75 a ticket, the concertgoers got every penny's worth. In true Beasties form, the show was a mix of comedy and rhymes, most of which went off without a hitch. Singer-songwriter Jose Gonzalez will embark on a green tour of North America in support of his latest album, 'In Our Nature,' this spring. The eco-friendly run begins on February 29 in Miami, FL.

Gonzalez is a noted vegetarian and was pursuing a PhD in biochemistry prior to his successful music career, so it's no surprise that the Swedish guitarist would set his sights on this environmentally conscious package. The tour, in partnership with the green-minded non-profit Reverb, will neutralize its carbon emissions by supporting renewable energy projects. Gonzalez's rider will include biodegradable catering products, and concert crew will be provided with re-usable water bottles throughout the tour.

A 50 cent ticket add on fee will go toward Reverb's environmental efforts, and fans will have the option to donate an addition 50 cents to NativeEnergy's CO2 Offset program when purchasing tickets through Ticketstoday. Last month, Ray Davies told the UK's Daily Mail that the original members of the Kinks would reunite after nearly 40 years. Davies' brother, Dave, suffered a stroke in 2004, but the lead singer insisted the group would play together again. "I think Dave's getting better and Mick's still playing," he said. "It would be great to get back together just to see what musical ideas we had and what would happen."

However, Dave Davies feels differently, to say the least. "It would be like a poor remake of 'Night of the Living Dead,'" Dave said of the reunion in a November post on his website. As per papers filed on Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Marilyn Manson is countersuing his former keyboardist Stephen Bier for breach of contract. He claims his ex-bandmate did not carry out obligations to take part in master recordings, concerts and the selling of band merchandise.

In August, Bier (aka Madonna Wayne Gacy) filed his own breach of contract suit against the shock rocker, claiming he was shortchanged in salary and medical support while Manson squandered the group's earnings on his luxurious lifestyle and "sick and disturbing purchases of Nazi memorabilia and taxidermy." Bier's suit seeks more than $20 million.

Manson's countersuit claims he and Bier's business partnership dissolved in 1996, when the singer rose as the leader of the band. Stephen Stills has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, according to Crosby, Stills and Nash bandmate Graham Nash. In a telephone interview with the 'Larry King Live' show on Monday, Nash said Stills is scheduled to undergo an operation on January 3, which is also his 63rd birthday.

The announcement was made just one day after Dan Fogelberg passed away from the disease. "Unlike Danny (Fogelberg), who left it too long to be seriously checked, Stephen found his at an early stage," Nash told King.

It seems Babyshambles singer Pete Doherty has traded his one addiction for another. His new vice? Mincemeat.

At a show at the Tap 'n' Tin pub in Chatham, England, the 28-year-old reportedly declined drink offers from his (anti-sobriety) fans. Doherty later said, "It's going to be mince pies for me this Christmas. I've got a massive order on the way."

But this new food obsession isn't quite AA approved. Beastie Boys Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz and Mike "Mike D" Diamond make a small appearance in M.I.A.'s new video for 'Paper Planes.' At about 2:51, the New York rappers roll up to M.I.A.'s truck and hock a watch. Don't blink, y'all.

In September, Billboard reported that the Beastie Boys will be working with "a bunch of British people" on their vocal version of their 2007 instrumental album, 'The Mix Up.' According to Adam "MCA" Yauch, M.I.A. is one of them.

Lily Allen may be working on new material for her forthcoming album, slated to be released in 2009 -- yes, 2009 -- but you're not going to hear it anytime soon. However, the lippy Limey was generous enough to release her cover of Electric Light Orchestra's 'Mr. Blue Sky,' a song rumored to be on said new album. The rendition was originally recorded for a French mobile commercial, but can also be heard in its entirety through this video clip, which displays a still image of the British pop star Photoshopped in a cartoonish barber outfit.
