Musical sweethearts Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova have ended their romantic relationship. In 2007's indie fairytale film 'Once,' the pair charmed audiences with their portrayal of an Irish busker (Hansard) who falls for a young Czech immigrant (Irglova). The two Oscar-winners carried the budding romance off-screen, while continuing to perform music together as the Swell Season.

In a recent interview, however, Hansard states that he and Irglova are no longer romantically involved.

"It did become a real relationship," Hansard admits. "I think it was just a very natural part of what we were doing together. We had made the film. We had gone through so much with the Oscar. Of course, we fell into each other's arms. It was a very necessary part of our friendship but I think we both concluded that that wasn't what we really wanted to do. So we're not together now. We are just really good friends."

To celebrate their 20th anniversary, the Smashing Pumpkins will release 'If All Goes Wrong,' a double-DVD set documenting the band's comeback residency during the summer of 2007. The first disc follows the newly-reunited Pumpkins throughout their 19-show run, while the second disc garners live performances from their sold-out shows at San Francisco's Fillmore.

"The general idea of doing the residencies for us was to create an artistic opportunity," frontman Billy Corgan told Spinner at the band's 2007 Sessions. "By being in the same bed every night, but yet being in the same community, it affords the opportunity to see the band really have their teeth sunk into a certain energy and vibe. As the old music business systems break down, a residency will create a sense of a moment in time that general touring no longer can."

Reggae artist Matisyahu joins Moby, Natasha Bedingfield, Cold War Kids, Imogen Heap, Talib Kweli and others for the new documentary, 'Call + Response.' The film, directed by Justin Dillon, focuses on the unsettling truth that there are more than 27 million people enslaved in the world today. A combination of celebrity interviews and artist performances, the "rockumentary" features Matisyahu covering a classic song from his idol, Bob Marley.

"When I was around 14 years old, someone introduced me to Bob Marley," Matisyahu said at his 2006 Sessions. "That's what really turned me on to reggae music. For the first two or three years, I didn't know that there was another band or performer besides Bob Marley. Listening to those lyrics and songs had a big influence on me, and I just connected to it. His music was universal."

Last October, Tim Robbins, Billy Bragg, Steve Earle, the Tangents, a reunited Brad and Tom Morello joined together to salute Woody Guthrie and his wife, Marjorie, in order to raise funds for the Huntington's Disease Society of America (HDSA). The concert paid tribute to America's iconic singer-songwriter, who was afflicted with Huntington's Disease (HD), and Marjorie Guthrie, who founded the organization after his death. Marjorie aimed to find a cure for the genetic neurological disease while offering support to individuals and families affected by the illness.

B.B. King Returns 'One Kind Favor'

King returns with an inspired set of covers that revisits his musical influences from the 1950s, including Blind Lemon Jefferson, Howlin' Wolf and Lonnie Johnson. With the help of producer T Bone Burnett (Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Elvis Costello), the record re-creates the vintage sound of the '50s by bringing in several heavyweight musicians to play alongside the blues king, including New Orleans piano legend Dr. John.

Ingrid Michaelson, 'Be OK' -- Song Premiere

On October 14, Ingrid Michaelson will be releasing 'Be OK,' a benefit project that features a mix of previously unreleased songs, covers and live tracks. A portion of the proceeds will go to Stand Up to Cancer (SU2C), an organization focusing on cutting-edge research to find a cure for all types of cancer.

"Being one of millions with a close connection to cancer, I know I need to do my part," Michaelson says.

On the inspiring title track, the New York singer-songwriter combines a playfully strummed ukulele with a strong bass line to create a refreshingly bouncy groove, similar to that of her hit single, 'The Way I Am.' The song will be available on iTunes beginning September 2, but you can hear it exclusively on Spinner now.

Billy Bragg Keeps 'Faith'

Having released his first solo effort in six years earlier this year, Billy Bragg is still fueling his music with political and social passion. His twelfth studio record, 'Mr. Love & Justice,' finds the English musician singing about issues ranging from the Iraq War to civil liberties. Although his messages may seem to warrant an angry, raucous sound, Bragg manages to deliver them with calm, romantic melodies in our Interface studio.

Throughout his lengthy career, Bragg has worked with a multitude of artists, including Paul Weller, Less Than Jake and Wilco. When asked about his most memorable collaboration, however, the troubadour poignantly recounts his work with three terminally ill women near his hometown of Dorset, England. But don't let his heartfelt story and gentle voice fool you: Bragg still manages to amusingly spit venom every now and then. When asked which celebrity he wouldn't want to be, Bragg mentions Prince Charles. "He's a f---ing jerk."

The Ting Tings 'Shut Up' for Sessions

As one of Britain's latest indie-pop exports, the Ting Tings have managed to propel past their U.K. counterparts with the help of a short yet memorable television commercial. Earlier this year, Apple featured the group's song 'Shut Up and Let Me Go' in one of its psychedelic iPod ads, causing couch potatoes everywhere to bop their heads and tap their feet. For those unfamiliar with the performers behind the infectious song, the Ting Tings are actually a duo composed of Jules De Martino (drums, guitar, vocals) and Katie White (vocals, guitar, bass drum). But with the crafty use of loop pedals, the energetic pair are able to deliver their boisterous, pop-tinged sound during live performances.

Despite the sudden success they have received, the Ting Tings look to remain grounded, which is one of the reasons they titled their debut album 'We Started Nothing.' AOL sat with De Martino and White to find out the story behind their onomatopoeic band name and what they really think of America.

Cut Copy Set the Interface on 'Fire'

Australian electronic trio Cut Copy brought their beats and handclaps to our New York studio, performing tracks off their sophomore disc, 'In Ghost Colours.' While maintaining its distinctive pop sensibility, the indie dance outfit showed off a more psychedelic, experimental sound.

"'In Ghost Colours' is a progression from the first record ['Bright Like Neon Love'] and reflects the fact we've been playing together for a few years now," frontman Dan Whitford tells Spinner. "It's sort of spacier and more disco than the last one. But there are also more guitar textures throughout as well. The layering is more elaborate than the first one."

In December 2007, the band toured Australia with Daft Punk, along with fellow Aussie acts Van She, the Presets and Muscles. When asked about the tour's massive production, Whitford states, "Seeing a band or a group that you're really into, you can see how it really enhances the whole performance. Maybe there will be a return to that in the future."

In the film 'Kurt Cobain About a Son,' recently released on DVD, the late Nirvana legend uniquely recounts his soon-to-be-shortened life in his own words. Filmmaker AJ Schnack, whose previous work includes a documentary on They Might Be Giants, dissected more than 25 hours of previously unheard audio interviews to piece together what Rolling Stone calls "the movie that's moving audiences to tears."

Set solely against the beautiful images of Seattle and other Washington cities, the film allows Cobain to deliver firsthand the piercing details of his life, music and time. Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard and Nirvana producer Steve Fisk provide the haunting score for the critically acclaimed documentary.

In the poignant clip below, the musician candidly discusses his surprisingly uncomfortable relationship with ex-Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic. "I don't really show my sense of humor when I'm around [Krist]," Cobain says. "I don't think I've ever really made him laugh out loud ... There's some weird barrier between us."

After seven years, the Black Crowes have finally released their seventh studio album, 'Warpaint,' on their own Silver Arrow Records label. While the disc features new members Luther Dickinson and Adam MacDougall, 'Warpaint' manages to deliver the band's signature blues-rock sound and is designed to please both old and new fans, despite Maxim's inexplicably premature "review."

The Crowes recorded the album in just three weeks, most of which was done live to capture the overall dynamic of the group. When describing the first single, 'Goodbye Daughters of the Revolution,' singer Chris Robinson told Rolling Stone, "It's about freedom, and what revolution used to stand for, how you've got to make one of your own and make it last."
