Having spent seven years as front man of The King Blues, London artist Itch effectively toes the line between grime, punk and dubstep, collaborating with punk icons like Rancid's Tim Armstrong and Goldfinger's John Feldmann.

Spinner RPM is thrilled to premiere Itch's controversial new video for "Like I'm Drugs," which depicts the rapper sitting alone in the trap, ingesting everything but the kitchen sink.

"The concept of this video is me taking a lot of drugs," Itch tells us of the clip, which paints a vastly darker portrait than the song's uptempo production would suggest.

I said I might never go back to Coachella. I'd done it already. It felt like someone else's high school reunion.

Back in Los Angeles, there was a lot going on. I saw James Blake play for 100 people in a recording studio. It wasn't as good as his festival set. An intimate James Blake show is perhaps a little too intimate.

I saw Phoenix, Os Mutantes and Nick Cave play private shows, Lee Fields play to a packed house. I started thinking about the festival. It started out as a joke. "I'm never going back" to "I'm going next weekend." Stupid.

Yesterday (April 19), we interviewed a bunch of Coachella's DJs about their week off between festival appearances. Despite the various hotel pools, mountains and deserts in the immediate vicinity, most of of the artists we polled, including Paul Oakenfold, Eric Prydz and Paul Kalkbrenner, returned to their studios, toured or played their usual Vegas residencies.

The answers we received were pretty tame, so we called up a bunch of bands -- Japandroids, DIIV, JEFF the Brotherhood and Wild Nothing -- and heard some decidedly more exciting occounts.

"The last few days we just spent going on a spirit journey in the desert," JEFF the Brotherhood guitarist/vocalist Jake Orrall told us. "We took two days to just go to Joshua Tree and just mellow out, climb on some rocks and shit. [Touring Guitarist] Karl started a cult in Joshua Tree. All these fine young ladies. It was pretty wild. I just kind of watched from the distance. I don't take part in anything like that."

Last year, Coachella added a second weekend, offering fans the opportunity to attend twice, organizers to charge twice, and artists up to a week off in the desert, golfing, meditating, visiting hallucinogen-friendly destination spots like Joshua Tree, or whatever else they deem fit.

While acts could not technically book ticketed Los Angeles dates in between, many performed up and down the coastline instead, from San Diego to San Francisco, private L.A. events courtesy of KROQ and KCRW, to stadium shows in scenic Santa Barbara.
James Blake followed his packed-out, bass-heavy set at Coachella Sunday with an intimate performance at Bob Clearmountain's Berkeley Street Studio in Santa Monica last night (April 15).

There were perhaps one hundred people standing quietly in the studio as the 24-year-old British singer/producer took the stage, unassuming in his grey sweater, bashful and lanky, much like his two band mates.

Without a word, they launched into the brooding title track from Blake's recently released sophomore LP, Overgrown. Having seen Blake several times throughout his four-year career, most recently this past weekend at Coachella, I knew what to expect. His layered vocals filled the room, modulating painfully, powerfully.

I had a great time at Coachella this year, but I think it may be my last.

I saw Blur, Nick Cave, Tame Impala, James Blake, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Richie Hawtin play jaw-dropping sets. I caught a surprise appearance by R. Kelly instead of Daft Punk. I saw Wu-Tang reunite to share a lineup with the Stone Roses, New Order and OMD.

I watched groups of adults throw their glowsticks in and cheer for themselves, for having made the trip and for the festival, snaking through the crowd, holding hands like children, sitting in circles, passing around drinks.

Only drug dealers had cell phones back then. I've been to Coachella a few times. I've lost cars, lost friends, made best friends, thought I was on Jay-Z's guest list, found out I wasn't on Jay-Z's guest list, slept on floors, slept in mansions, slept on golf courses, and generally had a pretty good time.

I made a list of tips to keep your cell phone on, your friends close, your car out of gridlock and yourself out of jail.

We all know who you're hoping to see at Coachella this year. You're eyeing that post-Richie
Hawtin slot at the Yuma Tent on Saturday night at 10:45. You're wondering if they'll come out with Phoenix again (our pick). You're even trying to figure out how long Jamie Jones, Wu-Tang Clan and Red Hot Chili Peppers' will be on Sunday night.

Will you hang around a glorified landfill strewn with cups, glowsticks, condoms and glitter at 1AM on a Sunday night in hopes that some robots unveil a surprise pyramid? Yeah, you probably will.

Either way, we've put together a list of our under the radar must-sees at Coachella 2013. Some of them you may not know. Some of them you may not even like, but don't act like you're not impressed.

Born in Merida, Venezuela, Rafael Garnica began his career as a drummer in the late '90s, playing in various rock bands, before settling in Barcelona, Spain, and reemerging as electronic music producer and DJ Garnica.

After releasing several noteworthy, slightly under-the-radar EPs, Garnica has released his beautiful debut LP, Fool Again, which you can stream in full after the jump (!). On Fool Again, the rock drummer and long time house music enthusiast's diverse musical tastes are evident; the album's lush soundscapes conjure images of various locales, both foreign and familiar, breezy and nostalgic.

Because Garnica's music was a recent discovery, we were excited to speak with him about his transformation from rock drummer to DJ, his move from South America to Europe, and Barcelona's budding, sometimes frustrating Barcelona music scene.

French DJ quartet C2C are kicking off their first U.S. tour this week, and in celebration, we're psyched to offer our readers the chance to win a Numark turntable!

C2C kick off their 10-date run tonight at Irving Plaza in NYC, and continue around North America for the next two weeks, concluding with their performance at Coachella on April 19.

"This is it! Finally our first gigs in the US, a few months after the release of our album," C2C told us earlier today. "We feel like this U.S. tour is a new start, a new adventure, and we're really excited about it! Many thanks to Spinner RPM who will allow one more person to DJ with this turntable contest!"

Disco pioneer Giorgio Moroder appears in the latest music doc from The Creators Project, discussing the early days of dance music and the significance of Daft Punk's forthcoming album, Random Access Memories.

The eight minute doc delves into the 72-year-old Donna Summer producer's introduction to the Moog synthesizer, club music, and why dance is "now the pop of the world."

The film also explores Moroder's affection for Daft Punk, whom he first heard "five or six years ago," and his experience working with them on Random Access Memories
