U2, 'Get On Your Boots' (Live) -- Exclusive Video

U2 kicked off a world tour in Barcelona this week, and even paid tribute to Michael Jackson by dedicating 'Angel of Harlem' to the late singer, weaving in pieces of Jackson's 'Man in the Mirror' and 'Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough' toward the end of the performance.

But before U2 embarked on their current trek, dubbed the 360° Tour, they played a short string of intimate U.S. gigs in March. One of these performances was at the historic Somerville Theatre just outside of Boston, which houses less than 900 people in its audience. Check out an exclusive video from that evening of the band rocking out to 'Get On Your Boots,' the lead single from 2009's 'No Line On the Horizon.'

Spinnerette, 'Baptized by Fire' -- Video Premiere

As the frontwoman of Spinnerette, Brody Dalle is used to the attention that comes with her position at center stage. Being the sole human focus of her outfit's videos, however, isn't something she's comfortable with yet. "Yeah, it's weird," she tells Spinner of the new video for 'Baptized by Fire,' from the band's self-titled debut, which features Dalle all alone on a mysterious beach. "I didn't really want to do that."

Originally, Dalle's longtime pal, Spinnerette guitarist Tony Bevilacqua, was set to appear as a "black figure looming around in the background," but he bowed out before the shoot because he "thought it was going to take away from the whole thing," according to Dalle. Under the direction of Brit Chris Hopewell, whose pedigree includes Radiohead's 'There There,' and The Killers' 'Smile Like You Mean It,' Dalle, sans Tony, spent two days in front of the camera on a windy beach in Dungeness, England, earlier this year for the video. "There was like this incessant wind," she says of the chilly shoot. "It was like the coast of England. It's like Kent or some s--- like that and it's like godd--- freezing. It never is not windy."

Kinky, 'Those Girls' -- Video Premiere

For more than a decade, Kinky have pumped out a series of songs that constantly toe the line between modern rock and dance pop. While 'Those Girls' continues with this formula, they've brought along some eye candy to spice things up. Set in a boxing ring, the Mexican quintet's new video features a few nice young girls wearing boxing gloves and symbols you're more likely to see on a slot machine. When the chorus "Those girls!/That's what you want!" kicks in over the song's pulsating bass line, you'll know exactly what they're talking about in the video after the jump.

Rye Rye, 'Bang' (Featuring M.I.A.) -- Video Premiere

For her first professional video, up-and-coming Baltimore rapper Rye Rye got a little help from first-time director M.I.A.. "She was very open to stuff, just being herself," Rye Rye says of the shoot. "I didn't feel pressured at all." The pair met originally in a Baltimore studio after M.I.A. heard one of Rye Rye's songs and sought her out. "She told me 'I've been looking for you for the longest time.'"

"I didn't want to make a video just for the sake of making it but rather, have a video that represents who she is and where she comes from," M.I.A. tells Spinner. "I thought it was just a natural progression for me to do it because I've known Rye Rye since she was 15."

For the 'Bang' clip, they decided to pay tribute to Rye Rye's hometown. "Baltimore club music is a new genre, our own genre," Rye Rye says. "I keep it hardcore but I'm also in a party spirit. We wanted to show that vibe." Check out the video after the jump.

Mew, 'Live From Cophenhagen' -- Exclusive Video

Danish rockers Mew are releasing a new album, titled 'No More Stories...' (the full album is an entire poem, a la Fiona Apple's 'When the Pawn') on August 25. In anticipation, the band -- in addition to releasing a 'No More Stories' EP this week -- sent Spinner special footage from their 'Live From Copenhagen' DVD. Check out the footage after the jump.

Elvis Perkins in Dearland, 'Chains, Chains, Chains' -- Video Premiere

The video for 'Chains, Chains, Chains' -- the latest single from Elvis Perkins in Dearland -- seems to be swimming (literally) in symbolism and insinuation. There are rising tides, silhouettes, aquatic birds and then, of course, embryonic sea people entangled in a womb-like waterworld. Or something of the sort. It all adds up to an eye-catching video that is mystical and imaginative and perfectly suited for Perkins' poetic hymn.

Perkins gives director Sean Pecknold credit for that. "The band and I really just had to be his shadow puppets for an afternoon," Perkins tells Spinner. "And then he created a never-before-seen world around us."

Never before seen until now, that is.

Jason Lytle Shines His 'Sun' at the San Francisco Airport

Grandaddy's Jason Lytle recently sent some exclusive live videos over to Spinner, which we'll be premiering over the next couple of weeks with Lytle's written descriptions of each of the clips. Up first is 'Brand New Sun,' brought to life at the San Francisco Airport.

Once I got past the discomfort of having to see my face so up close, I remember how excited I was to play with Aaron Burtch (Grandaddy drummer) at the San Francisco Airport, of all places. I had not seen Aaron for more than 2 years, and I asked him if he wanted to do this "airport show" with me. He said, "Sure. What are we gonna play?" I told him I didn't know, and that we would just wing it. Filmed by my pals the General Assembly, well, let's just say the crowd footage is priceless.
