"American Songwriter compared me to the guy from Alice in Chains covering an Arcade Fire song. I was like, [sarcastically] "OK, Alice in Chains. I get that entirely." At least it's a '90s reference."

"Apart from my Gallagher routine, I can quote a lot of comedians. Ricky Gervais is one of my favorite comedians, as well as Mitch Hedberg and Mike Birbiglia. "I met this amazing dream therapist, Jan Lloyd, who actually passed away last August and that was kind of the moment where it clicked that I sort of want to make a record as a tribute to him and what he taught me about dreams. It's not that there's one specific lesson I learned about dreams, it's more that it opened me up to my unconscious and to the fact that I guess I was going through life thinking that I knew who I was."

"We came home from New York one time and Jordan, our driver, had painted -- I was a huge 'Terminator' fan when I was a kid -- it was like one of my childhood icons, and when I got home from New York he had painted this masterpiece of the Terminator completely naked, holding his member and unleashing a cloud of cats." -- Guitarist Tony Smith

"I would say all of our families are more excited than us mostly. Where we're from this doesn't happen too often. Being from Kentucky, there's like, us and a couple other bands who've done something similar, and so everybody gets really pumped." -- Guitarist Tony Smith
