Conjuring a sound that it's fair to describe as sublime, the Baltimore dream-pop duo Beach House paints soundscapes that manage to be ethereal and substantial at the same time. Victoria Legrand's vocal has considerable heft and yet weaves smokily in and out of Alex Scally's pretty guitar lines.
