This 10-person-strong LA ensemble (Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros) delivers the perfect musical blend of folky, bluesy, and downright stompin'. Whirling frontman Alex Ebert's "community music" is never short of uplifting, and his Dylan-esque preacher howl interwines with co-vocalist Jade Castrinos' honeyed mezzo-soprano to pleasing effect.
