Whether Snoop Dogg's "Snoop Lion" reggae conversion is a stunt, a passing phase or the real deal, Reincarnated, which documents this change, is still an intriguing and sometimes powerful film. The unprecedented footage of Rastafari and Jamaican culture, especially Snoop's ceremony inside the Nyabinghi temple, is fascinating. The rapper-turned-reggae singer's random moments of self-awareness are always good for a laugh, too. And the touching exploration of Nate Dogg's death, including footage from the funeral, is worth the price of admission alone.
