Carla Bruni

Former French First Lady Carla Bruni quit her highly successful modeling career, which made her one of 20 highest paid models of the time, to focus on music in 1997. She released her debut album, Quelqu'un m'a dit, five years later and has never looked back. Bruni continues to write and record music to this day, and also participates in a number of charitable ventures.
