"You can't be a clothes hanger for your entire life," Lesley Lawson, better known as '60s fashion sensation Twiggy, announced when she retired from modeling in 1970. Music has proven to be a far more sustainable career for the former supermodel and occasional actress, who has been recording and releasing her brand of pop and country music on a fairly regular basis since singing with the Muppets and signing with Mercury Records in 1976.
