Otis Redding "(Sittin' on) the Dock of the Bay"
Volt
Soul singer Otis Redding recorded this hit single he co-wrote with guitarist Steve Cropper in 1967, just days before he died in plane crash. It was released posthumously in 1968 and would go on to be both Redding's only No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 and the first posthumous single to hit No. 1 in U.S. chart history.
