Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros 'Streetcore'
HellCat
Streetcore is the third and final album from Clash frontman Joe Strummer with his backing band The Mescaleros. The punk rock pioneer died suddenly from an undiagnosed congenital heart defect at age 50 in 2002 and the record came out in 2003. It proved to be a fitting note to go out on; completed by Mescaleros members Martin Slattery and Scott Shields, the return-to-form rock album recalled Strummer's early work with The Clash.
