Rihanna - "California King Bed"

Of all of the inanimate objects that Rihanna has sung about over the years (lipstick, dishes, candy, photographs, umbrellas, etc), perhaps the most bizarre is her bed. Now, she is mostly singing about the person in said bed with her, and the metaphorical distance between them, but one can't help but feel that she wouldn't feel ten miles apart from her bedmate if she'd simply purchased a less gargantuan mattress. Still, the song was probably the best piece of pop culture dedicated to the object until Celebrities Who Look Like Mattresses took the internet by storm.
