After making his acting debut in the stage adaptation of Michael Ondaatje's novel 'Divisadero,' country crooner Justin Rutledge asked the 'English Patient' author for a favour.
Ondaatje looked over some of Rutledge's lyrics, suggested a few changes and ended up walking away with a musical co-write on 'Be a Man' from the Toronto singer-songwriter's Juno-nominated disc, 'The Early Widows.'
