In 2010, Shooter Jennings, the son of outlaw country's Waylon, released 'Black Ribbons' a hard-rocking dystopian concept album featuring the voice-over talent of horror writer Stephen King.
In his best-selling novels, King often references classic rock 'n' roll songs -- plus he's a member of Rock Bottom Remainders, a band of published authors including Amy Tan ('The Joy Luck Club').
Here, the king of horror provides the voice of late-night radio jock Will O' the Wisp, who appears between tracks and weaves the all-too-timely tale of eroding freedom in the Internet Age.
