Your band's name is Bitches. What's that all about?

Blake Invinson: "We came up with the name as a bit of a joke. There are a lot of bands with one-word names -- an animal or pretty word -- so we picked a rude one. My mom hates it."

So when you're at a house party or something and someone asks you, "What do you do?" and you respond, "I'm in a band called Bitches," how does the conversation go from that point?

"If we're talking to someone mean, they ask 'Who's the bitch?' because we're a girl and a boy in a band. Then I can't gather up any energy to continue the conversation."

So what does Bitches actually sound like?

"We are a bass and drums duo -- noisy, fuzzy punk with sweet pop singing parts."
