Thanks to his Lil Wayne co-sign, Drizzy was almost instantly ushered into hip-hop’s upper echelons. While he's certainly featured a lot of Yankee guest-spots, his music remains true to Toronto with longtime producers Noah '40' Shebib and Boi 1da shaping the sound and building the beats. Drake also got contributions from from lesser-known Canadians like Divine Brown, Chilly Gonzales and Chantal Kreviazuk on his records, but it was his decision to join creative forces with The Weeknd that cemented his hometown hero status.
