Your band's name is Partycat. What's that all about?

Steve Sap: "Basically, there's two meanings to it. One being the name was created when we were all at a party and drinking and playing cards and whatnot, and there was a deck of cards scattered all over the table with a bunch of beer bottles and this cat just jumped up on the table and was just chillin' there. It was like, 'Wow, this is the ultimate party cat.' Nothing bothers him .. And basically the other alternative meaning is we figured what was the best way to hook up with a girl? If you think about it, it's like parties, cats. You get 'cats' at a party. That's like the best kind you can get. So that's the alternative underlining meaning."

What sort of merch ideas do you come up with for a band named Partycat?

"Conveniently, our first merch design is exactly what are band's name is, it's an orange and white striped cat wearing a white tank top with puke on it and sunglasses and a bottle of Jack Daniels next to him. But instead of the bottle being titled J.D. it's titled P.C. for Partycat. That's literally our first merch design."
