Your band's name is Cowpuncher. What's that all about?

Matt Olah: "Cowpuncher's like a name for a cowboy. Like a lower class, lowest of the low-type cowboy. And the way we got that name was just a random like word generator. It just kinda worked."

What's the response when you're in a conversation and they go "What's your band's name?" and you go "Cowpuncher"?

"It depends where we are. We're pretty well known out here. We were in Nelson [B.C.] and someone overheard, we were in a store or something and there was the 'What's your band called?' 'Cowpuncher.' And someone just shopping in the store was like, 'I find that offensive!' Sorry, buddy."

Do they actually think you run around punching cows?

"Or fat women? I don't know. Maybe."
