After years of getting bullied, the Nirvana frontman left school a few weeks before graduating. After dropping out, Kurt found out that he didn't have enough credits to leave. His mother kicked him out of the house and he lived on the street before returning to school -- as a janitor. Today, his hometown of Aberdeen uses one of his lyrics, "Come As You Are," on the sign welcoming visitors to the city.
