With the tens of thousands of people all heading for only a handful of exits, the long walk/stumble/limp out often took about 20-30 minutes. Many people were covered in mud, most seemed intoxicated and plenty didn't have any manners when it came to being in a crowd. But whoever started singing Biz Markie's "Just a Friend" and getting the whole crowd into it ended Lollapalooza on a great communal note.
