Marshall Mathers, better known as Eminem, has meticulously documented his family issues in his notoriously personal songs over the years, which has only contributed to some already ugly situations. Lyrics on The Slim Shady EP prompted the rapper's mother to successfully sue him for slander in 1999. His on-again off-again wife, Kim Scott, sued him for defamation over the song "Kim," in which he graphically fantasizes about killing the mother of his daughter Hailie.
