It seems that seminal British band The Kinks were the prototype for Oasis both in terms of music and sibling rivalry. The brotherly love between Dave and Ray Davies has been strained since Ray first muscled his way into Dave's band in the '60s. For over 30 years, the brothers Davies played together, making legendary songs like "You've Really Got Me" and "Lola" as well as engaging in exploding into fistfights before breaking up in 1996. The feud continues to this day, though. Ray even stomped on Dave's 50th birthday cake.
