Back to Musicians Behind Days of the Week Songs

Friday is the day of limitless possibilities. The weekend that we've been working for is almost upon us and anything could happen. The perpetually morose and/or angry Morrissey and Megadeth have their issues, with 'Friday Mourning' and 'Good Mourning/Black Friday,' respectively, but everyone else seems poised to have a good time. Even the Cure's Robert Smith is happily in love on Friday, even if the rest of the week is a mess of heartbreak, falling apart, staying in bed and wall-watching.
Katy Perry lists a whole bunch of potential exploits in 'Last Friday Night' and promises to do it all again the next time. Lily Allen (pictured above) gets feisty on her 'Friday Night,' but still manages to have a night out on the town. Infamous Internet superstar Rebecca Black has somewhat more PG party fun planned for 'Friday,' if only she could decide between the front and backseat. ("Which seat can I taaaake?")
