Back when Eminem was still trying to prove his badass bona fides, he took a swipe at the Grammys in his pop smash 'The Real Slim Shady,' in which he boasted, "You think I give a damn about a Grammy?/Half of you critics can't even stomach me, let alone stand me." Even though he'd already won two Grammys in 2000 for his previous album, Eminem continued, "'But Slim, what if you win, wouldn't it be weird?'/Why? So you guys could just lie to get me here?/So you can, sit me here next to Britney Spears?" Naturally, 'The Real Slim Shady' won best rap solo performance in 2001. Eminem currently claims 13 career Grammy awards, including five best album awards.
