Would you go see a band called Alphababy? Since even the band members hated the name, odds are it wouldn't entice you to take in a concert.

Good thing the Kelowna, B.C. band took the advice of Jon-Rae Fletcher, for whom they had been a backing band, and ditched the name. The group doesn't seem to have a specific connection to the Yukon Territory, but listening to their simple, lush harmonies does evoke golden-hued images of the far north's boreal forests.
