The singer-songwriter -- pictured at center with the Mamas and the Papas -- was best known for the love anthem "San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Flowers in Your Hair)," which was written by his friend Papa John Phillips. McKenzie also co-wrote the Beach Boys' 1988 hit "Kokomo." He died in August at 73 from an autoimmune disease.
