Beck's comments on Scientology have been few and far between over the years. But an exhaustive amount of research can be found on Lermanet.com regarding his ties to the religion. In a 2002 interview with Toronto's NOW magazine cited by Lermanet.com, reporter Tim Perlich asked Beck point-blank about his ties. "No comment," Beck said before the interview was quickly ended. VH1 reports that Beck is a second-generation Scientologist. They add that Beck's midwife mom delivered fellow second-generation Scientologists Giovanni and Marissa Ribisi, the latter of whom is now Beck's wife.
