Parliament Funkadelic singer George Clinton had his ties with Scientology, but as the Guardian cites, it was the "kookier end" of the religion, particularly the British offshoot of Scientology called The Process Church of Final Judgement. In fact, Clinton asked The Process Church to write the liner notes to his 1971 album Maggot Brain. We imagine it was the alien stuff that brought this mothership-loving P-Funker on board.
