"The Thanksgiving Song"
NBC
Two years before he debuted his wildly popular "The Chanukah Song," Adam Sandler performed "The Thanksgiving Song" during the Weekend Update segment of "Saturday Night Live" in 1992. Full of non-sequiturs, it contains lines like "Turkey for me, turkey for you/Let's eat turkey in a big brown shoe" and "Thanksgiving is a special night/Jimmie Walker used to say 'Dyno-mite.'"
A live version performed in California the following summer wound up on Sandler's debut album, They're All Gonna Laugh At You, and is fairly inescapbable around the holiday.
