On August 10, 1962, the 15th and final issue of comic book anthology Amazing Fantasy came out, featuring a new creation by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko named Peter Parker, the Amazing Spider-Man. Only a couple months earlier, Lee and another artist, Jack Kirby, had unveiled the first issue of The Incredible Hulk.
