Rose made Guns N Roses fans -- and snarky journalists -- wait 15 years before he released Chinese Democracy, the band's first album since 1993's The Spaghetti Incident. Before Rose's opus came out, the Offspring threatened to steal the album title and name their next record Chinese Democracy on the grounds of "You snooze, you lost." Axl's lawyers got in touch about it, but the punk band dropped the title, saying they were never going to seriously use it.
