Happy anniversary! One day before their sixth wedding anniversary (August 23, 1968), Cynthia Powell Lennon, then-wife of John Lennon, filed for divorce from the Beatles member.
It had something to do with the fact Lennon was a serial cheater. That, and he had gotten Yoko Ono pregnant.
