August 24, 1990: Judas Priest Don't Cause Suicides

Remember back in the '80s and '90s when people considered heavy metal the devil's music? There were real ramifications. Like when British metal band Judas Priest had to go to court to prove they didn't put subliminal messages in their Stained Class album that caused two Nevada teenagers to commit suicide in 1985.
After nearly five years of legal battles good sense prevailed and the courts determined Judas Priest were not the cause of these deaths.
