December 4, 1980: Led Zeppelin Promise Not to Reform
Evening Standard, Hulton Archive
Led Zeppelin officially declare they'll never properly reunite after the death of drummer John Bonham.
Although the band members have mostly stayed true to their word, the Zep have reformed a number of times over the years for special events like Live Aid and most recently, the Ahmet Ertegun Tribute Concert in 2007.
The 2007 show, which featured John Bonham's son Jason on drums, received over 20 million ticket requests from around the world.
