December 25, 2006: James Brown Dies

The godfather of soul and hardest working man in showbusiness James Brown died at the age of 73.

Brown died of heart failure due to complications from pneumonia.

After his death Brown's family descended into a civil war over his estate. A side-effect of which being that Brown's body wasn't officially buried until 2008 as family members fought over where he should rest.
