When Arcade Fire won the Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards the internet lit up with charges of "Who Is Arcade Fire?" even prompting a popular tumblr named after the incident. At virtually every major awards show ever since there's been some sort of "who is..." viral surge when an unlikely or relatively unknown artist wins something.
