Rock 'n' roll original Jerry Lee Lewis surrendered to authorities on charges of income tax evasion. Lewis, who had battled with the IRS for years, owed $995,000 based on money he made between 1975-1980. He would be acquitted of those charges, but has continued to have money troubles over the years, declaring bankruptcy at one point and starting a 1-900 number to pay off his debts at another.
