While filming a commercial for Pepsi Michael Jackson's hair catches fire due to some errant pyro. Jackson would receive second degree burns on his scalp. More importantly, this event is considered the catalyst that would lead the King of Pop down the dark path of cosmetic surgery and painkiller addiction.
