On July 4, 1976 one of the most important punk bands the world would ever know, The Clash, would make their live debut at the Black Swan, Sheffield, England opening for the Sex Pistols. On July 4, 1999, one of the most important couples the tabloid magazine industry would ever know, footballer David Beckham and occasional backup singer Victoria Adams (Posh Spice of the Spice Girls), would be married at Luttrellstown Castle, Ireland.
