July 16, 2007: White Stripes Play Shortest Live Show Ever

In 2007 the White Stripes embarked on a tour across Canada that would eventually result in the Under Great White Northern Lights dvd. In addition to playing proper shows in every Canadian province and territory during this tour, the band would also play secret impromptu shows.
Their bonus show in St. John's, Newfoundland was a quick one. So quick it was the shortest live show ever held. Basically, the band set up on George Street and Jack White played a single C note on his guitar while drummer Meg White did a bass drum/crash cymbal hit.
And then it was over.
