July 22, 1969: Aretha Franklin's Driving

Soul legend Aretha Franklin may claim to drive on the freeway of love, but mostly she just drives into things. In 1969 the singer was arrested for causing a disturbance in a Detroit parking lot. Franklin then posted her $50 bail and promptly ran over a road sign while leaving the police station.
