June 8, 1989: Chrissie Hynde's Fiery Temperament

Staunch vegetarian Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders (seen here protesting against FKC in Paris in 2003) claimed she once firebombed a McDonald's restaurant during a Greenpeace press conference. The next day a McDonald's in Milton Keynes, England was firebombed and Hynde was threatened with legal action.
