June 1, 1967: The Beatles Release Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

In their attempt to go weird, the Beatles' would release Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band in the UK (it would come out a day later in the US). The album would feature numerous very-scandalous-for-the-times drug references. It would also make almost every Top Album list made ever since.
