May 7, 1991: Ozzy Osbourne's Suicide Solution

In 1986 a depressed teenager named Jack McCollum shot himself while listening to Ozzy Osbourne's song "Suicide Solution." McCollum's parents sued Osbourne, claiming the song was the cause of their son's death, though its subject matter is actually about Ozzy's chronic alcoholism. Five years of court battles later, a district court judge in Atlanta dismissed the lawsuit on first amendment grounds.
